Integrated Writing:
第一套：
阅读文章要点：讨论金字塔shaft的目的
阅读给出三种观点：
1. bring fresh air, 也就是通风；
2. used with stars for religious reasons, 和星星有关，对准天上的星星，星星在古埃及对应特定的神；
3. for king’s spirit to pass through, 是法老去往来生的通道。
听力逐一反驳：
1. 金字塔上面的两个shaft的确是通风的，但是下面还有两个shaft, 根本没有通风口，在墙里面；
2. 埃及金字塔建造的时候还没有这样的理论，这样的理论是在建造完之后出现的；
3. 在其他金字塔中，门都是象征性的，都是关着的，说明埃及人认为灵魂是可以穿墙的，所以这里的shaft根本没有必要挖出实际的通道。
第二套：
讨论了decline of northern native cats population的原因是否合理。
阅读提出三种原因：
1.cats会吃蟾蜍cane toads。蟾蜍有毒，所以cats数量下降。
2.cats被狗的陷阱吸引去，吃了里面有毒的肉bait，所以数量下降。
3.森林大火wildfire把植被烧死了，也烧死了cats吃的昆虫，所以它们饿死了。
听力逐一反驳：
1.研究表明蟾蜍数量上升，如果cats吃了蟾蜍，蟾蜍数量会下降，cats应该是学会了如何分辨蟾蜍和青蛙所以不会吃它们。
2.把肉和毒药放在一起让cats吃，发现它们消化了meat。
3.cats可以通过吃别的食物比如青蛙来代替，而且森林大火可以烧掉这些小动物藏身的地方，让cats更容易发现其他小动物。

1. 三选一类：

2. 事实类：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Taking a lot of time to make an important decision is viewed as a bad quality for a person to have. But now it’s considered as a good quality of a person.
3. 比较类：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
It is better to make friends with intelligent people than with people who have a good sense of humor.
